This webinar will provide a basic overview of HIV as a chronic medical condition, describe prevention and post-exposure recommendations, and discuss opportunities for interprofessional collaboration.

Learning Objectives:
  • Review the state of HIV as a chronic medical condition, including transmission, pertinent lab monitoring, and common medications.
  • Recognize oral manifestations of HIV.
  • Identify tools for reducing HIV transmission such as Treatment as Prevention (U=U) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) and PrEP.
