Workplace violence prevention plan must be implemented by many California dental practices by July 1

California dental practices that have 10 employees and are open to the public are required to establish, implement and maintain a workplace violence prevention plan no later than July 1 under legislation signed into law last year. Employers must involve employees in the plan's development for preventing and responding to threats of violence and violent incidents and report such incidents in a log among other requirements.
