2022 OSAP Annual Conference - Focus on the Future


The 2022 OSAP Annual Conference provided vibrant programming, impactful networking, and opportunities to reflect and connect over emerging and salient topics in dental infection prevention, occupational health, and patient safety. It included opportunities for learning and engagement, including plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, and space to connect with sponsors, exhibitors, and innovative thinkers in dental infection prevention, occupational health, and patient safety from across the globe.

Event Liability Disclaimer and Release

OSAP has created an Event Liability Disclaimer and Release.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

All participants receive access to recordings of sessions on Friday, July 8. If you are unable to attend in-person, you still have this alternative option for participating.

However, for those participating in On-Demand Only or whose schedule will no longer allow them to attend in-person and/or on-demand, all registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to [email protected] by Thursday, May 26.

  • An 80% refund of course fees will be given for cancellations received by Thursday, April 21.
  • A 50% refund of course fees will be given for cancellations received between Friday, April 22, and Thursday, May 26.
  • No refunds will be granted for requests sent after Thursday, May 26. OSAP regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.

All requests for exceptions to the cancellation/refund policy must be submitted in writing by the registrant with appropriate documentation to [email protected] no later than Thursday, May 26. After that time, no refund considerations will be made.

We are unable to honor registration switches and/or transfers. The new participant will need to register themselves online. The original participant will need to contact us at [email protected] or +1 (410) 571-0003 to cancel the original registration.

Photo and Video Policy

No individual or entity may electronically record or broadcast any portion of an OSAP course without prior written consent of the presenter(s). Unauthorized recording (audio, video, still photography, etc.) of presentations during sessions, posters, breakouts, etc., without the express written consent of individual presenter(s) is strictly prohibited. Individuals observed photographing or videotaping any presentation, in whole or part, will be removed from the conference, forfeiting the registration fee.

Social Media Policy

OSAP encourages the use of social media as a way of connecting with other participants and expanding the reach of information presented at our meetings and conferences. If you plan on using social media to discuss the conference, please use the official hashtag (#OSAPAC2022). Note: Sharing specific presentations, posters, or slides is prohibited without the express written permission of the presenter(s).

Permissions and Privacy Policy

OSAP offers registrants contact information to facilitate networking after the course. By registering, you give OSAP permission to include your name and contact details on the attendance list. During the registration process, there is an option to opt-out of this list. Alternatively, if you do not wish to be included on the attendance list, email your exclusion request to [email protected] by Thursday, June 9.

OSAP captures photos and videos during the conference. By registering, you grant OSAP full rights to use the images resulting from the photography and video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images, for the promotion of OSAP or its publications, fundraising, publicity, or other purposes. This may include (but is not limited to) the right to reuse in printed and online publicity, social media, and press releases. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, email your exclusion request to [email protected] by Thursday, June 9.

OSAP collects evaluations during and after the course. By registering, you give OSAP permission to use any written comments you submit on evaluation forms.

OSAP’s Privacy Policy

Code of Conduct

OSAP’s Code of Conduct outlines OSAP’s expectations for anyone attending or contributing to an OSAP meeting or educational activity, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior. Circumstances beyond the control of OSAP may require that the 2022 OSAP Annual Conference be converted from an in-person experience to an online-only event. In that case, registration for attendees will automatically transfer to the online version of the event.

The 2022 OSAP Annual Conference is planned and presented by the 2022 OSAP Annual Conference Planning Committee to provide participants with a relevant and rewarding continuing educational experience.
